What is a vegan diet weight loss plan?

Vegan Diet Weight Loss

Simply put, vegan means you do not consumer any type of animal by-product, which takes it one step beyond being vegetarian.  That means you cannot have meat, cheese, eggs, dairy, anything that came from an animal.

A vegan diet can be very healthy as long as you get the right amount of vitamins and minerals.  It can be done.  Vegan diet weight loss is a given with the diet.  You've already essentially cut out most of the fat, and are now relying on grains, fresh fruits and vegtables, and tofu to get your nutrition.  You have to watch what you eat very carefully to ensure that you are getting enough protein and iron in your diet.

Performing a balanced vegan diet will put you at a healthy weight in no time.  It is a challenge though going from being a meat eater to being vegan in our culture.  A transition from being vegetarian to being vegan is a bit easier, but if your body is used to having meat, there may be a slight withdrawl feeling for the first few weeks.

Vegan diet weight loss is a very effective way to lose weight.

I've lost 18 pounds (and counting) since going vegan. If you do it right (don't eat vegan junk food) you will lose all those crazy food addiction cravings and be satisfied all day. The weight has come off effortlessly. I just eat well; lots of veggies and beans. I limit processed flour and sugar. That easy. Get over your food addictions, do something kind for animals, and go vegan!
